Long-term, structural forces that shape the economy and society over decades. They will not move the market tomorrow. They decide where the world is heading.
About the library
How the library is built
The library has 25 articles, five in each area. Each article answers a question you could ask out loud: what is the genome, where does Swedish electricity come from, how does a payment work. The answer is built on statistics from public agencies and research institutions, never on second-hand sources.
Every figure in the text has a footnote that leads to the source. Click it and you land in the list of sources at the bottom of the page, where each entry states exactly what it supports. That way you can check a claim without leaving the article, and see which year a figure applies to.
Start wherever you like. The areas are independent of each other, and the articles within an area can be read in any order. Each article takes about ten minutes.
